Hello, I'm Carolyne.

I've always been fascinated by the way colour changes how a room feels. Not just on a canvas, but in the homes we create.

That fascination grew into a love of mid-century modern design. Organic shapes, timeless palettes, quiet optimism. It still shapes the way I paint today.

I create modern abstract art for people who value beauty, simplicity and intentional living. My hope is that every piece brings a little calm into your home.

Beauty in Everyday Life

I'm inspired by the small things most of us walk straight past.

A pair of galahs chatting on a telegraph wire. Winter sunshine warming my ginger cat as she sleeps by the window. A vintage find in an op shop. Soft afternoon light across an old timber table.

Beauty doesn't have to be grand. Often it's already right in front of us.

More Than Paint on a Canvas

Over the years I've exhibited my work, led workshops for children and adults, taken on residencies and shared creativity through community art projects.

Each one taught me the same thing. Art isn't simply something we hang on a wall. It sparks conversation, stirs memory and quietly changes the feeling of a home.

Whether I'm painting, writing a journal entry or planning the next workshop, my hope is always the same. To leave people feeling a little lighter than before.
